Surely I don't have time.... part Deux<p> And before you know it, it is the <strike>end of November December</strike>. So, a recap:</p><p>Classic:Hardcore</p><p>I had fun, lost some characters because I was stupid. But I completely stopped playing hardcore because of two reasons. and those are the next two... </p><p>Innovation is raiding again, so 3 weeks a night for about 4 hours I am raiding. But... I am not sure how long this will last. Not because we have troubles far from it, but we may clear HC soon....</p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_auuEIYMwc19QoNINLZiLXaMlkyyankBUg5okv1XCZBgsqeq2v41xUpxm8mG16BavrTrIkqSsk3mDN3qTYIER-6qKWoUD6Nbya6FVvaWUSDAguvCH1bpnfBeoU6RGW5iQFH1eTtyE9rko6MF78qLdQre4w_az1QkuLUL31qlq5ovXbcnQX2f3Yxi9hFP0/s1920/Fyrak+start.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1920" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_auuEIYMwc19QoNINLZiLXaMlkyyankBUg5okv1XCZBgsqeq2v41xUpxm8mG16BavrTrIkqSsk3mDN3qTYIER-6qKWoUD6Nbya6FVvaWUSDAguvCH1bpnfBeoU6RGW5iQFH1eTtyE9rko6MF78qLdQre4w_az1QkuLUL31qlq5ovXbcnQX2f3Yxi9hFP0/w640-h360/Fyrak+start.jpg" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Ice versus Fire</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><p>he first week we raided, we cleared Normal. That is something that has not happened in a long time, normally we take about 3 resets to take down the end boss on Normal. In week 2 we had to do HC on Sunday, because we where already done in Normal. This is Raid week (iirc) and on Thursday we did Normal, AND 2 HC bosses.</p><p>And on Sunday we took down two new bosses. One of them , Larodir was a pushover... and we should have gotten it down 2 pulls earlier if a certain mage hadn't fekked up Time Warp :p And we now need to prepare for Smolderon HC on Tuesday... we are already 6/9 HC in week 3... and the week has not finished yet.</p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1jhAT2rNS7AkMP8x_ITzQgU1j9f7Ix0ghNcxYPD9b7BKB5CTlbOMsHpDXJ1Z9oT-qtrvvsKHF0FK2r78Uw1I0EVbSLoqKZeR7pxo15XyARaK2BcyNoujRJ_mPMRYjF2oTYlNHAjWPqZxtV0G7FatuJClIntF_8JsfQnGvCxolhhRksSE9vptLnJrU9Lry/s1920/Snek%20in%20a%20Hottub.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1920" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1jhAT2rNS7AkMP8x_ITzQgU1j9f7Ix0ghNcxYPD9b7BKB5CTlbOMsHpDXJ1Z9oT-qtrvvsKHF0FK2r78Uw1I0EVbSLoqKZeR7pxo15XyARaK2BcyNoujRJ_mPMRYjF2oTYlNHAjWPqZxtV0G7FatuJClIntF_8JsfQnGvCxolhhRksSE9vptLnJrU9Lry/w640-h360/Snek%20in%20a%20Hottub.jpg" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Snake in a Hot-tub</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><p>Meanwhile... there is ANOTHER version of WoW... Season of Discovery. And this is probably the biggest reason I stopped playing Classic-HC. I already have a Paladin on lvl24, but I got bored... and well.. you can make 50 alts.... I do think the idea of runes is nice, reminds me of the old Inscription system. I am a little bit worried about later phases though. Surely I don't have time....<p><strike>A</strike> More as a month ago, in the middle of my vacation, I think I was in the Republic of Ireland at that time, Innovation killed Sarkareth HC. Well done. <strike>Last week</strike> 4 weeks ago, I also got my AotC, still needed a good 6 pulls for the kill. And at this moment Innovation is on a break till next Raid, something with the Emerald Dream,</p><p>I did play some WoW during vacation. Mostly leveling, getting pets from the Fyrakk-thingie, but nothing that would keep me glued to the PC for along time. And then, something happened during my last week in Wales. Stories started to creep in of something new... well new.. I heard of it before, but now it was Blizzard-sanctioned. World of Warcraft: Classic : Hardcore had started. And I was like... naah, don't have time for that... </p><p>I posted this on the last day of August on the Innovation-Discord:</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgn6XVtbIirvRGVCFKctx_v0ZUFcalZ9iSHjSmhl5Y-s5I7RgZIhRcXd9iy-LYaYvVzUtVI4UHbchFgNI-h4s5ECCb0sIL0tl8vPTtMp0qvvAoV87m0zJI43k2_Eqpc8pU2iZZ7kQSKGo-0QRfGJqrQgnzT5m1jxMcooQHd5Mjr0HA61RszxozhtY0wo5wp" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="590" data-original-width="568" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgn6XVtbIirvRGVCFKctx_v0ZUFcalZ9iSHjSmhl5Y-s5I7RgZIhRcXd9iy-LYaYvVzUtVI4UHbchFgNI-h4s5ECCb0sIL0tl8vPTtMp0qvvAoV87m0zJI43k2_Eqpc8pU2iZZ7kQSKGo-0QRfGJqrQgnzT5m1jxMcooQHd5Mjr0HA61RszxozhtY0wo5wp=w616-h640" width="616" /></a></div><br /><br /><p></p><p>And this is now:</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgWGIyS0iRabthUKFskY2E7bmeTeviUAJIaUv90oX1nb5Tw-NLx5SGYliO65cLl6jEr65oQhHtuUj-550oU30dI9mezjA3qDbKTy1ayteKBV-u0HJ7Ongwg6DaPYk1jGvI7OET2oGFeZtMtPfYvND8wYTg0OuLAsxMimOyTRx952mWHnNLEzkpb41d24TuE" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="897" data-original-width="746" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgWGIyS0iRabthUKFskY2E7bmeTeviUAJIaUv90oX1nb5Tw-NLx5SGYliO65cLl6jEr65oQhHtuUj-550oU30dI9mezjA3qDbKTy1ayteKBV-u0HJ7Ongwg6DaPYk1jGvI7OET2oGFeZtMtPfYvND8wYTg0OuLAsxMimOyTRx952mWHnNLEzkpb41d24TuE=w533-h640" width="533" /></a></div><br /><p></p><p>Of those original 16, <strike>only</strike> Mardah the Hunter has died, I was stupid enough to try the Cave just above Dolanaar.. didn't made it out, I learned 2 lessons there.</p><p>1. So I am definitely using a bank alt now (the 2 new chars on the list).</p><p>And Ealfreda, Forsaken Priest died due to Undercity-lift glitch. I actually waited till it was up again , walked in, but between arriving and going down, there was like 1 second delay, not enough to fully be on it.. so.. yeah.. lesson learned, never use lift on higher chars. On Alliance, not surprisingly, it is Gowron the human paladin. Three weeks ago on the Horde, it was surprisingly, Ynyrs, Troll Warrior, who also already had some very close calls. But now Lurge and Luaran caught up. This is mostly because last weekend, the EU server Stitches went awry.</p><p>Luckily I had some pre-warning, the night before, Gowron was getting the FP's in Feralas and Tanaris, and I had a worldlag just before I stepped on the lift down... I also had some long disembarking-times from the flightpaths. So, the next morning I decided to level some lower level alts to 10 when the server completely died, an estimated 800 characters also died. My Deathlog suddenly went mad and within 10 seconds I got 40 messages, and it continued for a while.</p><p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjoinTz56a-mwSPfbH5T72qRIJqHwfQUeaD5-B26kckrK65mrLxiejH1ZIHyt5rB6IZJ5mvl5rAAilIAfmV3cizq-UC7A0NL6I9A9We1GH_Je-8jDu-heU-YNnqQn_1AEs9IoaHy9GTmsSVn7f_6_oB3nAGv78d7hAaeSDvHyY5eHoQO10sFUhUsW6rGtXN" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img alt="" data-original-height="614" data-original-width="855" height="460" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjoinTz56a-mwSPfbH5T72qRIJqHwfQUeaD5-B26kckrK65mrLxiejH1ZIHyt5rB6IZJ5mvl5rAAilIAfmV3cizq-UC7A0NL6I9A9We1GH_Je-8jDu-heU-YNnqQn_1AEs9IoaHy9GTmsSVn7f_6_oB3nAGv78d7hAaeSDvHyY5eHoQO10sFUhUsW6rGtXN=w640-h460" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">The Purge on Stitches-EU</td></tr></tbody></table><br />On gearing, my mentality is a little bit different on HC, especially about leveling and weapons. As example Gowron, although he did have a 2H mace from the lvl12 yeti-kill quest in Dun Morogh, but at level 17 I was able to buy a lvl17 2H-axe of the boar (Stam/Strength) for about 30s with a sell value of 20s. Most of paladins damage come from auto-attack. I don't remember buying much on the AH for lower levels back in the day, but now... well death is death.</p><p>And for the leveling.. Gowron actually leveled to 10 in Elwyn Forest. But the rest of my alts have become more cautious. Doing 2 lvl 1-6 starterzones first, and after that going back and forth between zones to do... 'easier' quests, like 2 levels below own level most of the time.</p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6VuH7ZrJK2FKYMt6Ea5w7_tCMvEAaV48oC3GHBiXQQaHpYd2mtA0HogLIiJxn56jaZYJ9ZVt6Sg9DvxcTmo985oRQjycicy2sM2acVSH9Gf25L6ufIRlLzurSROVyYxjhEeI22WRRM0WdLnmgzBL7ZJ6k66N35HALUiza0pA8w1O7bKEVkH-77dtrUOgW/s1920/WoWScrnShot_090923_220914.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1920" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6VuH7ZrJK2FKYMt6Ea5w7_tCMvEAaV48oC3GHBiXQQaHpYd2mtA0HogLIiJxn56jaZYJ9ZVt6Sg9DvxcTmo985oRQjycicy2sM2acVSH9Gf25L6ufIRlLzurSROVyYxjhEeI22WRRM0WdLnmgzBL7ZJ6k66N35HALUiza0pA8w1O7bKEVkH-77dtrUOgW/w640-h360/WoWScrnShot_090923_220914.jpg" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Gowron going for some Candle... also note the deathlog</td></tr></tbody></table><p>As mentioned before, my Horde characters are getting some playtime now, I am not trusting Stitches at the moment. So this weekend I played mage and hunter mostly. The Classic HC Hunter Guide on Wowhead has a funny bit. It recommends getting an Owl or Vulture as pet because of Screech. This ability does some ST damage and lowers the melee-damage for up to 4 mobs, so it has a high aggro ability, that seems helpfull, BUT... the guide fails to mention that the first bird that actually has that ability, and the only one with Rank1, is the Greater Fleshripper, lvl 16/17 in Westfall....</p><p>So, as Alliance, for the first few levels, you'd better get a boar, mostly because it eats everything, the birds only eat meat. For the Horde it gets more interesting. Getting to Westfall at that level is, well, difficult and not recommended for Hard Core I would say, so your first option for the bird is at level 32 in the Thousand Needles where the Salt Flats Vulture has Screech R2. So.. yeah... again, get a Boar, eats everything.</p><p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhLuNMhBA972XrojFOwh34G8KF5xeDdwXmlnrykBPUchIlvtIL_yNnzMipKkGyGW437RKpiWjagwV6ccyhKH3_7T4Mza7WiNYCOjxF4K96W19ap_3cn_0BhBJ5yR1B4lbMe5qRTCmMZOQyOfKW0eYYidYW4N0E-G7DggqtY5ATutVcgnlHKjTfUgiGSB0E8" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img alt="" data-original-height="1007" data-original-width="1067" height="605" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhLuNMhBA972XrojFOwh34G8KF5xeDdwXmlnrykBPUchIlvtIL_yNnzMipKkGyGW437RKpiWjagwV6ccyhKH3_7T4Mza7WiNYCOjxF4K96W19ap_3cn_0BhBJ5yR1B4lbMe5qRTCmMZOQyOfKW0eYYidYW4N0E-G7DggqtY5ATutVcgnlHKjTfUgiGSB0E8=w640-h605" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Luaran with her new Pet Boar, Stan.</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><br /></p>Andréhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11966967316872280121noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3491855104608545221.post-90423872171285528892023-07-26T16:11:00.001+02:002023-07-26T16:11:34.471+02:00Summer is upon us, 2023 edition.<p> When I start writing this post, it is Monday the 17th of July. Next Thursday my summer-vacation starts, so playtime will go down, outside time will go up. I will be spending 5.5 weeks away from my home-PC and trusting on a 6-year old MSI-laptop. With Innovation's current schedule, I can raid 3 more times, and after that 10 raids will be very tentative. So, 3 more raids for a Sartharion-kill...oh my.</p><p>With the RL-injury of the other mage in Innovation... I suspect some dumb raids :)</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhSysys-GOhvmQY71B20DEJv48t4ya8XGc3SgnbQux9QoQ-WU4tca_vO5fqeH6AwatOERfc_mtH55uhz5jD8JoaUY2wr7AHEaxWUtrCJzzcV3b2IWBHO3nT6ZrosHFnf-cMnsneQ97MLr1jwEOvxpU_q9IWToPjZZENnakBJZ5BjE-xTC2l8sOdnx4tsemc" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="107" data-original-width="253" height="135" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhSysys-GOhvmQY71B20DEJv48t4ya8XGc3SgnbQux9QoQ-WU4tca_vO5fqeH6AwatOERfc_mtH55uhz5jD8JoaUY2wr7AHEaxWUtrCJzzcV3b2IWBHO3nT6ZrosHFnf-cMnsneQ97MLr1jwEOvxpU_q9IWToPjZZENnakBJZ5BjE-xTC2l8sOdnx4tsemc" width="320" /></a></div><br />In other news, next patch will bring heritage armor for both Night-Elf and Undead. It's not that people didn't want a permanent buddy, it's because you made it a dps-loss, and mage is a DPS-class....</p><p>Having that out of my system, the new Frost is interesting, and it forced me to change my Standard UI. I lost one spell, that is Rune of Power, but I gained three, Comet Storm, Glacial Spike and Ray of Frost. And I gained an utility, Mass barrier. That is 3 spells that at least need to be hot-keyed. And I also needed to have bigger acces to Damage reduction spells.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieHVQdmc52zrbXU0MVHI6YGmEkNvs051kLnYTCNmqGK2ThoCu_MsPYSLe5HkuT9Hg_HS68b5VuOL70XoXrvY0pCOC96SN54ye5Jf-DgokdvOaa9rzBshVI6tvJ2RW1iY64MKeC7W1GwHiL5ea5zpWJ5D2umhKivHS3LqYL-cfaB1NIY2uQqEX6MzuOf3di/s985/UI-new.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="485" data-original-width="985" height="316" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieHVQdmc52zrbXU0MVHI6YGmEkNvs051kLnYTCNmqGK2ThoCu_MsPYSLe5HkuT9Hg_HS68b5VuOL70XoXrvY0pCOC96SN54ye5Jf-DgokdvOaa9rzBshVI6tvJ2RW1iY64MKeC7W1GwHiL5ea5zpWJ5D2umhKivHS3LqYL-cfaB1NIY2uQqEX6MzuOf3di/w640-h316/UI-new.png" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p><p>So I activated a new bar for all my DR's and put them all there. It has to be seen if that is handy, but at least I can see them more clearly now, and they are no longer on my hotbar, which may become a problem, have to test that in the next few weeks.</p><p>I already 'played' with the new spec on Tuesday's Raid (pre-patch). It was actually not that much of a dps-loss, and because we were farming lower-HC, it didn't matter much. I died several times because I was trying to figure out what to cast, instead of looking below my feet, but that is training. One thing I did noticed was that the new 'combo' can take a while.</p><p>In a situation that actually happens a lot imho, the 'combo' can take upto 10 seconds. I am talking about the next situation: Frostbolt-Flurry-Icestorm-Glacial Spike-Ray of Frost. On a boss like Experiments, where globes spawn that need to be killed fast, I noticed a lot of lost Winter Chills because I couldn't start the combo at the spawn. I should really learn to not use flurry, if I know target will not make it for the next 3 seconds.</p><div style="text-align: left;">So, the new casting memory is:</div><p style="text-align: left;">(with first spell having higher priority to following spells in case of choice)</p><div style="text-align: left;"><i>Shatter-window:</i></div><div style="text-align: left;">Cast Flurry if last cast was Glacial Spike/Frostbolt or if Icicles=4</div><div style="text-align: left;">Cast Comet Storm</div><div style="text-align: left;">Cast Glacial Spike/Ice Lance</div><div style="text-align: left;">Cast Ray of Frost/Glacial Spike/Ice lance</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><i>Out of Shatter-window:</i></div><div style="text-align: left;">Cast Ice Lance with FoF-proc</div><div style="text-align: left;">Cast Frostbolt</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><i>Cooldowns:</i></div><div style="text-align: left;">Icy Veins on CD</div><div style="text-align: left;">Frozen Orb with Ray of Frost on CD and max 1 FoF-proc</div><div style="text-align: left;">Temporal Warp in Icy Veins</div><div style="text-align: left;">Shifting Power when IV,RoF,FO are on CD (plus if you can do this in range)</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">.... and now it is Sunday, and we have Evokers, and we cleared it all rather easy upto Echo of Neltharion.. and this was what I was looking at after Magmorax: </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvW8q15olc-U0ScB_ml13mvHfCDa2Dn2XtrJ4w7WAoYOYBreD-5YjguhwMkQQvdMN3SZEQ5ScdgIWHPqKveULmL8nuaK7sTdQC85QppHJs0pjQHOCIhWlxXJP0GTALfvWuON40brpnLS4vuNm5Ta_69MG7wuYNdNI6t7GRljJ3SdlsBSW3VDzqGjGNd-nf/s277/DPS-list.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="136" data-original-width="277" height="196" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvW8q15olc-U0ScB_ml13mvHfCDa2Dn2XtrJ4w7WAoYOYBreD-5YjguhwMkQQvdMN3SZEQ5ScdgIWHPqKveULmL8nuaK7sTdQC85QppHJs0pjQHOCIhWlxXJP0GTALfvWuON40brpnLS4vuNm5Ta_69MG7wuYNdNI6t7GRljJ3SdlsBSW3VDzqGjGNd-nf/w400-h196/DPS-list.png" width="400" /></a></div><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I guess Frost is better, and I promise not to eat the Evokers?</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div>Andréhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11966967316872280121noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3491855104608545221.post-87159395103298976912023-07-04T20:45:00.002+02:002023-07-04T20:45:51.628+02:00Who are all these people?<p>I know, I didn't played for three months, but still.. who are all these guildies?</p><p>I just re-read <a href="https://eightyearsinazeroth.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Eight years in Azeroth</a>, and that got me on some memory-trips. The guild in that blog, Descendants of Draenor, had a rough time between Firelands and Dragon Soul. And this was just after they actually did all the achievements in Firelands. And I remembered what it as for Innovation. And if you don't, look at the posts from Januari 2012, and count the number of people in the kill-shots....</p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-eVWqdDF6eYE/Txx5z_XIUGI/AAAAAAAAAV0/49oJbgR4vpg/s1440/Madness.jpeg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="1440" height="400" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-eVWqdDF6eYE/Txx5z_XIUGI/AAAAAAAAAV0/49oJbgR4vpg/w640-h400/Madness.jpeg" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Innovation kills Normal Deathwing... with only 10 people</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><p>There are actually still a lot of people around now from that dark time. On the picture we see Eva, Synth, Moreor, Aletia and myself as Mardah. That is 5 people still raiding. And some names that still pop up often like now and then. And people long gone, like Charli and Zese (yes, we had an imba-rouge before Gestalt). Now, 7 people that signed up that evening couldn't come due to having to do it on 10, not 25...</p><p>But there where raiders before that, that have gone, like the infamous Wenny, Miralocolix,Juliej. And not that ago lost to the Aether, and hopefully returning one day Kris and Fuzzy. I actually have list of all players that partook in Mists of Pandaria, it's <strike>at the end</strike> through the whole of the following video:</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/vfa7LvTKD28" width="320" youtube-src-id="vfa7LvTKD28"></iframe></div><div><br /></div>To be honest, some of them may still be around, and I just forgot their old names :p. And getting from 4/5 to 5/5 implies using a Mythic stone thing, which I probably won't get soon. So, this is a reminder for myself in the future what I meant.</p><p>A funny thing happened with last post, because of the silly names the frost mages gave to their rotations, the post got flagged for NSFW, or NSF-younger people. This seems to be an automatic process, because the flag was quickly removed after I re-submitted it, and some real person had a look at it. Not that different from WoW I suppose, although I read stories that it takes a little bit longer before some real person looks at it in WoW.</p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxsrShHSpqLIMJllqeiwyZzn8WbR49Pv83wgto0pTU-FmAd1et9BPB0PGA2tkRmdMBeenG2QvGPda24KBxRUAu57EKjOMvApeXwDAeHuGg_qPo2hy50-RwyNLn7bdERF94DuggtJEhPAKUJCirNa4Sl5ugl8VBjbF81-dfceFoUAyUrj8KByRI72oYMQ/s1920/WoWScrnShot_061423_162650.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1920" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxsrShHSpqLIMJllqeiwyZzn8WbR49Pv83wgto0pTU-FmAd1et9BPB0PGA2tkRmdMBeenG2QvGPda24KBxRUAu57EKjOMvApeXwDAeHuGg_qPo2hy50-RwyNLn7bdERF94DuggtJEhPAKUJCirNa4Sl5ugl8VBjbF81-dfceFoUAyUrj8KByRI72oYMQ/w640-h360/WoWScrnShot_061423_162650.jpg" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Wednesday : Sim day // The vault gives epic trinket.</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><div><br /></div><div>After last week, I made some changes on how to Frost (single target). Mostly by prioritizing Flurry a lot. So my mind now basically looks at the following things:<p>* After Frostbolt-Flurry-Ice Lance, if I have a Brain Freeze proc (so my flurry button lights up) -> cast another Ice lance into FB-Flurry.</p><p>* After Frostbolt-Flurry-Ice Lance, if I have a Frost of Fingers proc (so my Ice Lance button lights up) -> cast Ice Lance into FB-Flurry. [this is I guess not right, but it seems with all the movement more wisely, also, on target dummy, it actually is higher dps for me as just ignoring FoF, for ME that is].</p><p>* After Frostbolt-Flurry-Ice Lance, if no button lights up, Frostbolt into FB-Flurry.</p><p>* When spamming Frostbolt between Flurry-CD, use an Ice lance before the buff falls of. 3 seconds before end buff if no FoFx2 , earlier if FoFx2, about 5 seconds.</p><p>* Look closely at the CD of Time-Warp, because of the talent that lets me use it more.... yeah, that is a new one, hadn't really thought about that one... oops again. I made sure that CD is more upfront for me.</p><p><br /></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: justify;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhtVBUVM1AJiKg_1UMgahgwfKWOe8YThPAFXXH8xiDm3zIEnZiu3jk6tch2DX19wpiNNDNUETh1HU4pAG_YC9JZj4UzHUR0StvJ6n3gfuLl_j-afWHotM4FiQGzvTUp6qCFdsaXAbsRA6_JVnC8un9nSquONaBctDzwfPE01czhdgua9nencl-4bFozeA" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img alt="" data-original-height="215" data-original-width="877" height="156" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhtVBUVM1AJiKg_1UMgahgwfKWOe8YThPAFXXH8xiDm3zIEnZiu3jk6tch2DX19wpiNNDNUETh1HU4pAG_YC9JZj4UzHUR0StvJ6n3gfuLl_j-afWHotM4FiQGzvTUp6qCFdsaXAbsRA6_JVnC8un9nSquONaBctDzwfPE01czhdgua9nencl-4bFozeA=w640-h156" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Weak Aura's for Frost Mage</td></tr></tbody></table><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><span style="text-align: left;"><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><span style="text-align: left;">Now looking at that picture, there is one WA that I don't need anymore in 10.1.5, the Rune of Power one. And I am happy that it ill be gone, it made me a bad raider. The bloody thing gives such a high buff that I needed to be close, and that sometimes conflict with where I should be. So that's where my mind goes into what to do, stay here, take a tick of extra damage, should I help soak... et cetera. Being ankered to a spot, even with a 8 yard leash, is not a good thing, and it made me a worse raider. Glad it will be gone.</span></div><p></p></div>Andréhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11966967316872280121noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3491855104608545221.post-40119760638636914712023-06-08T19:13:00.002+02:002023-06-09T09:17:30.275+02:00Learning how to frost...<p> I am not happy... with my DPS.</p><p>For the last 10 years I was easy a top 5 player for Innovation. Even though Moonkins sometimes weren't the best for a certain situation, at the end of the raid-night, I knew I had thrown in enough Starsurges and Starfalls to, at least, have some e-peen over my DPS. And now..I am lucky to reach the top 10....</p><p>So, how to change that? What is the reason I am struggling? Time to look at Lurge..rr well, Lurger, but I will never get used to that last r.</p><p><span style="text-align: center;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="text-align: center;"><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMdqTtmq_2lsgzm_Sww8AhALCpfiu5g_-7eG97FDJ7OnwbH1UL7xlnt2OCSm_bbO9FQ7cAQO6y5mF4DDA7zvV6QdXG9z_Vm065aa2Z4ioILWoDzE3rOM0ILYcY08_gaKSaBqhMo06-MxdvonArlL_cUz8ifIZlc_0MSqroUFG0cqaoRyUhofuUOoIqmA/s1920/WoWScrnShot_060823_185500.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1920" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMdqTtmq_2lsgzm_Sww8AhALCpfiu5g_-7eG97FDJ7OnwbH1UL7xlnt2OCSm_bbO9FQ7cAQO6y5mF4DDA7zvV6QdXG9z_Vm065aa2Z4ioILWoDzE3rOM0ILYcY08_gaKSaBqhMo06-MxdvonArlL_cUz8ifIZlc_0MSqroUFG0cqaoRyUhofuUOoIqmA/w640-h360/WoWScrnShot_060823_185500.jpg" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Lurge about to hit Silvermoons target dummy.<br />also.. really blizzard, I can hear them scream from Aberrus here?<br /><br /></td></tr></tbody></table><br /><span style="text-align: left;">Lurge actually started getting gear in patch 10.0.7. The island full of rares, and a little bit raiding, gave me some gear to actually not feel that under-geared before patch 10.1 dropped. But, well, then patch 10.1 dropped, and Innovation went to Abberus. I was Ilvl 408 max, and that showed. Even now, 5 weeks on, and just gotten 4 tier set, I only breached Ilvl 420 this Wednesday.</span></span></p><p>And that is lower as my teammates. Problem here is Mythic+, which I don't do. So for the past month I have been trailing behind on Ilvl. But that should change a little bit next few weeks, when more Heroic gear is coming in, although I still won't be able to upgrade to 5/5.</p><p>I could tell you everything about the Balance spec. The ins and outs, what to do how to move. I knew how to find the resources, what you-tubes to watch, and how the talents worked with each other.... but now I am playing a Frost mage. And the rotation guide on wowhead only tells you that much. .</p><p>So, I had to find new sources of information, and also, learn a new rotation, and that is something that I am not yet completely good at, especially because, well, a Brainfreeze proc is not a Fingers of Frost proc. I found this on the reddit.</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhHhAj6kHTpy-FenS4ILmciSZ0Q7RZTu-oEKuXNXrPs0v3Fa2iW_icJY4e6ODRDyoP8wcpVYtke1r2OF5jpuCo0dZ2cBYMGvKZeMgkSsMKSLEo0rLdlzv23lUfSegTtqZ80qBx1v6rZxHJk8cxlV9XEc_aR40PRO151Zjh5GtwV2v5oi4GyBkREv4aPbA" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="564" data-original-width="567" height="398" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhHhAj6kHTpy-FenS4ILmciSZ0Q7RZTu-oEKuXNXrPs0v3Fa2iW_icJY4e6ODRDyoP8wcpVYtke1r2OF5jpuCo0dZ2cBYMGvKZeMgkSsMKSLEo0rLdlzv23lUfSegTtqZ80qBx1v6rZxHJk8cxlV9XEc_aR40PRO151Zjh5GtwV2v5oi4GyBkREv4aPbA=w400-h398" width="400" /></a></div><p><br /></p>This look simple, but the problem is that it already has 2 different rotations, Milf and Dilf (who came up with those names?) Then there is the silly swapping from rotations at the end of Icy Veins, which is to extend IV I guess, And an added line: use BF-proc in last 5 seconds of IV w/o precast Frostbolt.<p></p><p>Now the main thing about Frost mage rotation is the combi Frostbolt-Flurry-Ice Lance - Il/Fb. That four-spel-combo needs repeating all the time. This will also keep up your icelance and frostbolt buffs normally. Now... what I have been doing last few weeks, was instead of looking at the Brainfreeze proc to cast a 2nd Icelance, was looking at the Fingers of frost proc.... oops. Now why is that important, because flurried fb/il does a shit ton of dps, and you want that fast.</p><p>Now I think I understand what I can do to up the deeps... but..fun fact, that may change soon, because there is a lot of changes coming for Frost on the PTR, including the removal of Rune of Power...hurray.<br /><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTe-jxqry9hsk3Y0qIyy3okUCVpWMupTAs1hluOL-W4q7z2TbL3uDoEby1_wKkApD5Y72Y2mrpdaog9Utjk5QBISczP8oCiF-iOaT3piUBftW4pSuSfcBHIaWBevtbz7ejJ5DGOooxQUPi9t6sDLx1i62RZKbtUYQhazHY8V2ImM4IuyyQ1LHSg0O_kA/s1920/WoWScrnShot_052423_180940.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1920" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTe-jxqry9hsk3Y0qIyy3okUCVpWMupTAs1hluOL-W4q7z2TbL3uDoEby1_wKkApD5Y72Y2mrpdaog9Utjk5QBISczP8oCiF-iOaT3piUBftW4pSuSfcBHIaWBevtbz7ejJ5DGOooxQUPi9t6sDLx1i62RZKbtUYQhazHY8V2ImM4IuyyQ1LHSg0O_kA/w640-h360/WoWScrnShot_052423_180940.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>Andréhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11966967316872280121noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3491855104608545221.post-45951364876652038842023-05-19T08:53:00.000+02:002023-05-19T08:53:51.254+02:00Time to get cool<p>So after my last post, I had to do some stuff... like emptying all other servers and just moving everything to Argent Dawn. That also meant some of my characters had to be deleted, like the lower levels mostly. Although on higher warlock at least got the axe, resulting in this:</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-9k6860wL9VtgFW0kK4nq9AUJt1Srcb0z6mRw-vjDDOrmpdhpR5fpOboEBA1DbJOSgTBI9ytsy3PY5HsJ50LLCTc9SnXgtUBMn5vsDNu_8R4lkmi392E0gVxnY1KTaU5nW6rLdCfuhEPFbcnh1wbHB2JtxXyWY_Dx45EV4dibG6MLQZgc-S-Fw4h7Kw/s836/lurge2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="203" data-original-width="836" height="157" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-9k6860wL9VtgFW0kK4nq9AUJt1Srcb0z6mRw-vjDDOrmpdhpR5fpOboEBA1DbJOSgTBI9ytsy3PY5HsJ50LLCTc9SnXgtUBMn5vsDNu_8R4lkmi392E0gVxnY1KTaU5nW6rLdCfuhEPFbcnh1wbHB2JtxXyWY_Dx45EV4dibG6MLQZgc-S-Fw4h7Kw/w640-h157/lurge2.png" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p>49 of those are in Innovation, making me 6,6% of innovation at the moment... the last one, Doiral still is the GM of When Elekks Fly, my bank-alt so to say.</p><p>It also meant that some characters had to be renamed. My mage is now called Lurger, with an extra r, and there where some more.</p><p>Gwaednerth, ye ole Gowqron, became Gowrronn</p><p>Luaran, Orc huntress, became Luarain</p><p>Ezrila, Undead rouge, became Lariszia</p><p>Cloudcaller, Tauren shaman, became Cloudwatch</p><p>Gythreuliaid, Bloodelf demon hunter, became Gyrial</p><p>Karnhorn, Tuaren death knight, became Karnhoorn</p><p>Morshando and Vornik kept their names</p><p>But that makes only 9 characters I transferred, well... I also had a Gnome rogue somewhere, Lamars, and he is now Lamarche, bringing transfers up to 10. Al the other Horde characters I had where send to the eternal recycle bin. I did made 8 new Hordies to replace them:</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHLv2lIrK5tV8EH2n_2nqiolNkiw4Cl5zwNwpkjUlMBwknyMBUwG4DGcZLmDrWk3_ujeeRzNuWdPIDSfXglYTjE2_W8N2aWxmO69EJb3vQ0lV_0nUfkpoLTEKTOZAeVEH1UnhA6pECOB4RW_eXGsybaXm8nK_eGYgRUwSO5M-7y0MtFFFWyTY3EP3Zwg/s630/lurge3.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="287" data-original-width="630" height="293" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHLv2lIrK5tV8EH2n_2nqiolNkiw4Cl5zwNwpkjUlMBwknyMBUwG4DGcZLmDrWk3_ujeeRzNuWdPIDSfXglYTjE2_W8N2aWxmO69EJb3vQ0lV_0nUfkpoLTEKTOZAeVEH1UnhA6pECOB4RW_eXGsybaXm8nK_eGYgRUwSO5M-7y0MtFFFWyTY3EP3Zwg/w640-h293/lurge3.png" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Quiriani is actually already levelling, and Amalaina is doing the Bloodelf starter zones. The introduction-quests up till you get the Garrison Heartstone, is probably the best XP/hour you can get in World of Warcraft. As you can see, 4 of my alts are 15, and they all stopped the moment they got their Garrison Heartstone. Cloudrager is a little bit higher, because he is going to stay in Draenor, and did the first few quests to get followers and the Ashran FP.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">What leaves, is the Guildchat when I finally decided to put them all in Innovation.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgf6bwP3a8rdQ8DBmKMsMPKS7oy4iJ0d2exOyBaD0V0YCgRxFW-npS71HFK5UUVB4E8VXnKgufM2CxiV-raFtfj0pNpHK5G0su7_88ThFWhff39woM7ZEob9n8iYvLQB2_-oBli4SqevmKsRjoVEj8QZjBi5aWqsevGaIKAeUuOu3zMyWSdbUyOSI5VUg/s420/lurge4.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="126" data-original-width="420" height="192" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgf6bwP3a8rdQ8DBmKMsMPKS7oy4iJ0d2exOyBaD0V0YCgRxFW-npS71HFK5UUVB4E8VXnKgufM2CxiV-raFtfj0pNpHK5G0su7_88ThFWhff39woM7ZEob9n8iYvLQB2_-oBli4SqevmKsRjoVEj8QZjBi5aWqsevGaIKAeUuOu3zMyWSdbUyOSI5VUg/w640-h192/lurge4.png" width="640" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div>Also... changed the theme and header.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><p><br /></p>Andréhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11966967316872280121noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3491855104608545221.post-49087790070899108692023-03-20T17:48:00.002+01:002023-03-20T17:48:32.545+01:00For the Alliance??<ul style="background-color: #202020; color: #00c0ff; font-family: "Open Sans", Arial, "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; letter-spacing: 0.16px; list-style-position: outside; margin: 0px; max-height: 1e+06px; outline: none; padding: 10px 20px;"><li style="line-height: 1; list-style-position: outside; margin-left: 15px; max-height: 1e+06px; outline: none; padding: 0px 0px 5px;"><div data-markup-content-target="1" style="clear: left; display: inline; line-height: 1.5; max-height: 1e+06px; outline: none;">Players who have been enjoying Cross-Faction Instances now have the ability to join the same guild as their opposite-faction friends and benefit from conveniences like shared chat and guild repairs.</div></li></ul><p>....well... that opens up possibilities.</p><p><br /></p><p>Now, I played a lot for the first month of Dragon flight. But at the beginning of Januar it stopped.... it stopped so hard that I basically didn't touch the game for 2 months orso, missing a whole raid tier it seems. I don't even know why it really happened. </p><p>Rewatching 'The West Wing', all 7 seasons, probably didn't help. And the new Tower game from FeelThere also took up a lot of time, and changing jobs was also thrown in the mix. Add to that that I was not happy that Night Elf Moonkinform most of the times is not working, the buff is there, just not the aesthetics. And that Eclipse is totally ignorable now, but still pops up as a thing to use... well... I guess I needed a break.</p><p>This happened all just after I said I would raid as Tsjikin... about 2 weeks ago I played again on Mardah... did the LFR... and then didn't play again for 9 days orso...</p><p>So... Now most where 50, but some came from further down, my last one, Wileau was around 23, but some may have come from lower. And except for Outlaw Rogue, I do now have all dps-specs on max, with at least enough of the same class to spec into different healing or tanking classes... so 2 shadowpriests basically. </p><p>I also specified if they are part of my main-alt-army for professions. Well... here we go.</p><h4 style="text-align: center;"><b><span style="font-size: large;">The Warriors</span></b></h4><p></p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; In one of the last posts I already mentioned that I was not really enjoying myself in Shadowlands. Several reasons were to blame for that, and mostly just me, I got bored of the whole anima grinding stuff, and mostly I just raided.</p><p>(sorry no screenshots this time)</p><p>For all that time, I did log in on raidnights, did some small stuff, raided, and logged. I didn't really liked the last two raids. Too dark I guess. There where some fun mechanics, and some very annoying ones, but not really fun memories. It also didn't help that Innovation was basically back to raiding with 11 people. Which basically means that every time two people couldn't come, no raid. We even cancelled sunday raids for a while because to many times we had not enough peeps on sunday.</p><p>Last April we killed Denathrius after 105 wipes... the second kill was at least that amount later. I took almost 10 months for us to kill the next end boss, Sylvanas... a week before patch 9.2 dropped. I have no idea how we survived that. Took so long, with so few people. First Denathrius kill was a raid of 19. I am not 100% sure, but I think we killed Sylvanas with 11 or 12.</p><p>But what else did you do in those 10 months... well...</p><p>I played some Classic TBC, I actaully tankadinned Kara somewhere, But, I really didn't like doing two endgame. I did a lot of dungeons with and for Guildies in summer, but after summer that stopped mostly. The guild I am in did transfer, and I transferred with it, levelling a hunter for a while, but again, hardly these days, not really sure why... well..probably because of Stellaris</p><p>Around Christmas I started playing Stellaris again, and that game just takes a lot of time, so last 3 months where mostly spend in that game, but... for know... I am really liking this patch.</p><p>Zereth Morris is a fun zone, and also very alt-friendly 9.2 is... Last week Tiramuria,Kyaria,Stonetamer and Lurche all did LFR, nboosted by some 226 greenies from the AH to get Ilvl high enough. Only Nialedd, a tank, hasn't done LFR yet, probably because I really don't want to tank for some idiots...and I have seen some...</p><p>Innovation is stuck at normal Anduin at the moment, we just don't have the dps to kill enough stuff in the Hunger-one, so we can't survive the LK-phase..although stuff will be nerfed today, so maybe this week.</p><p>Mardah hasn't got a tierbonus yet, maybe today in the Vault. And we get a second Leggo today. So I hope we can finish normal fast now. And soon we will know what the next expansion brings...</p><p>There are rumors that we may finally be able to just guild up with Horde-players.... </p><p>a Troll Chicken looks interesting to play...</p>Andréhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11966967316872280121noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3491855104608545221.post-37448240060607145742021-05-26T15:48:00.005+02:002021-05-27T07:40:47.067+02:00Introducing Mardaah<p>After levelling a Paladin on Classic the last few weeks, I found myself into a situation I was so often before, what now? Should I continue playing her into TBCC? I was preparing for it, including being on the Epic Charger quest, but, do I really want to Pally TBC again? And if not, what then? Level another char to 70 on classic, although faster due to the pre-patch, still... well.. enter the Dark Portal Pass, and let's do the logical thing:</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-G72PYgJXWTk/YK5QjTYQeUI/AAAAAAAAHpA/6nlnjKEpWcIFPCcI4siuZnlAB46YAK45wCLcBGAsYHQ/s1920/WoWScrnShot_052621_154200.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1920" height="360" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-G72PYgJXWTk/YK5QjTYQeUI/AAAAAAAAHpA/6nlnjKEpWcIFPCcI4siuZnlAB46YAK45wCLcBGAsYHQ/w640-h360/WoWScrnShot_052621_154200.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p></p><p>I even joined a guild which is doing, and planning to do some raiding, so now I am doing high level quests to get gold for the epic mount, and it got me into a trip through my blogposts of the past, where did Mardah came from... yes, this is going to be so funny Mardah and Mardaah.</p><p><a href="http://lurge.blogspot.com/2009/01/cooling-down.html" target="_blank">Cooling Down</a></p><p>This is the earliest blog I could find that mentions me playing a Druid, 7 January 2009. I know it is Mardah due to posts following this one, but she is already level 3 here, and I mention she existed for 2 years prior, which is impossible... that would place her birth in January 2007, a month before I actually started playing WoW. She most likely spawned somewhere just after I started, to see the Night Elf start movie and zone, after which she was forgotten about for a long time. I didn't even levelled her out of the starting zone...</p><p><a href="http://lurge.blogspot.com/2009/02/just-little-update.html" target="_blank">...just a little update.</a><br /></p><p>It took some more blogs and more then a month before I actually named her Mardah in my blog, when I changed her spec to Balance. Now if you read the blogs of me around this period, you'll notice I was not in a good mode. IRL it was my first winter not married, and in game that reflected on me not knowing what to do, leaving XII, joining BaT, leaving that again, playing more Alliance, joining XII again... I was in a mess that January, not as bad as at the end of 2009 though...</p><p><a href="http://lurge.blogspot.com/2009/07/its-done.html" target="_blank">It's done</a><br /></p><p>What had I done? I transferred Mardah away from Khadgar to Argent Dawn..an RP server.... oh my, what a mistake :p. 19 days later Mardah reached 80, and for the next 1.5 years I was basically doing a lot in WoW with a lot of different chars, although, at the beginning of January 2010, about 11 months before I would join Innovation, I almost applied to them, but considering that I also mention Lamars, my depression-rogue, it is probably better that I didn't back then</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hiFjg-IKRls/YK5RfdP_0OI/AAAAAAAAHpI/6XIzNbxkNvY1Uc3enmgbq0yQku5NQD7PQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1920/WoWScrnShot_051321_211746.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1920" height="360" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hiFjg-IKRls/YK5RfdP_0OI/AAAAAAAAHpI/6XIzNbxkNvY1Uc3enmgbq0yQku5NQD7PQCLcBGAsYHQ/w640-h360/WoWScrnShot_051321_211746.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p></p><p>So..am I done in retail? No, but what I do in retail is Raid, and if you don't like to do Mythics, when you dislike Thorghast and the Maw a lot and you don't really care for transmogs/mounts/pets, then Raidlogging becomes a thing.</p><p>But you can play alts? Yes, but I really only should finish the last covenant campaign on the Roons-master Tiramuria. Because levelling is not that much fun in Shadowlands, and I have more fun levelling a random lvl 20 dwarf mage on TBCC now.</p><p>I think retail will pick up again when 9.1 hits, but when you don't like rushing dungeons like me, only raiding is left.</p>Andréhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11966967316872280121noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3491855104608545221.post-26334443066944968942021-05-19T15:23:00.000+02:002021-05-19T15:23:03.930+02:00Covid Journey<p> At the beginning of April I was tested positive for Covid-19, just before the may break, which basically meant I would not work for about 6 weeks. So, I had a lot of time to kill, and what better way to kill that, then to play Classic, that is one big time sink after all. </p><p>I already had a Undead lvl 60 Priest, which was basically parked, because I stopped playing. So I dabbled around with various alts, until after a week or two, I found a goal to reach, Verigan's Fist. And here is some of what happened afterwards in pictures.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YpYc_RzcGfo/YKUPnfgYXBI/AAAAAAAAHnk/u01zxU5vF9Y5JDFlEUGrrQtAIUIgO71HgCLcBGAsYHQ/s1920/01_start.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; Thee months inside Castlevania and I hope to forget it soon. Not that the fights where that bad, it's just this whole starting patch of the expansion that just not hits me. And in that feeling I don't have many fond memories of the Castle.</p><p>We also had a lot of turnover. If I look at the first few kill-pictures on the Innovation site, there are a lot of players around. I even remember saying that it would be a long time before Synthea and myself would put on the healing-set again as the guilds reserve healers for the last decade, considering we had such a consistent team of healers showing up....</p><p>Well.. that didn't last, on the killpic of the generals I am even in treeform, and Synthea was healing on our Denathrius kill, where we even pugged a healer. There are all good reasons where the healers went, mostly RL. And one went Loktar Ogar on us and probably costed us two more wipe nights on Denathrius.</p><p>But, it's now April, and all news I am getting, it may be a while before the next raid drops. So I guess we will be farming this for a while. Although, maybe I can play some TBC in the meanwhile.... all that leaves us now are the killcounts for the bosses...and.. *Gasp* a kill video.</p><p>Number of pulls per boss in Castle Nathria:</p><p>Shriekwing : 4</p><p>Huntsman Altimor : 10</p><p>Hungering Destroyer : 6</p><p>Lady Inerva Darkvein : 15</p><p>Artificer Xy'mox : 9</p><p>Sun King's Salvation : 7</p><p>The Council of Blood : 11</p><p>Sludgefist : 33</p><p>Stone Legion Generals : 23</p><p>Sire Denathrius : 105</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="348" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/sZ-QBWSSn9c" width="414" youtube-src-id="sZ-QBWSSn9c"></iframe></div><br /><p><br /></p>Andréhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11966967316872280121noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3491855104608545221.post-22877566407060489072021-03-30T13:37:00.001+02:002021-03-30T13:37:44.978+02:00The Burning Crusade, or why I doubt I can spec 0/40/21 again.<p> Those where the days. </p><p>The days I fell in love with this game.</p><p>The days I spend to much time levelling.... as protection Paladin.</p><p>The days of the legendary forum of maintankadins.</p><p>And still on-going blogs like <a href="https://honorscode.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Honor's Code</a> and <a href="https://blessingofkings.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Blessing of Kings</a> where I learned how-to</p><p>And it will not happen again.</p><p>Yes, TBC-Classic will launch, and I will level a Horde Paladin, and I will spec him protection somewhere, this time with the posibility to have the Alliance-seal. But after all those years, nothing new will come along, there will be no surprises.</p><p>I will not be ported of the boat to the Exodar on my Dwarf Hunter because I didn't had the expansion yet.</p><p>I will not run into a cow shaman called Spectre several times during leveliing.</p><p>I will not be invited to the guild he is in, and leaving that guild with him.</p><p>All those things are past, the new things the game gave me back then. Those are all memories of people I long lost touch with. Spectre who stopped playing due to real life. Placebo, Hellcatherin, Cochana, Nagkeen, Morhen, to name but a few.</p><p>I am still in touch with Orkishna, Jorky and Kemwer. Those are the only ones I still know what they do these days. So many years have passed since I was a Bloodelf Maintankadin. And I still look fondly to those 2-3 years, long being smothered by new memories as Innovations Boomkin.</p><p>And yes I will level, and do a lot of those dungeons from memory. But I am afraid this time no one will do it like back then. A lot less CC will be used...and if used, will be broken, beause who knows CC these days. And I will play it for a while, but probably, or certainly no raiding. I can only fit so many hours of WoW in a week.</p><p>And so I will not get that axe you can throw from Kara, I will not get the T5+ almost T6 gear to actually NOT spec into Captain America's Shield. So I will not spec into the "Wordlie" Spec I really liked back then, 0/40/21.</p><p>I will use the next script:</p><pre class="wp-block-preformatted ipsCode" style="background: rgb(186, 204, 212); border-radius: 10px; border: 0px; color: #1c232c; font-size: 1.5rem; line-height: 1.6; margin-bottom: 0.7em; margin-top: 0.7em; max-width: 100%; outline: 0px; overflow-wrap: break-word; overflow: auto; padding: 1.6em; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">/script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("Need 102.4 combined avoidance. /script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage(GetDodgeChance()+GetBlockChance()+GetParryChance()+5+(GetCombatRating(CR_DEFENSE_SKILL)*150/355 + 20)*0.04,1,0.5,0)</pre><p>And for the new tankadins, starting Kara with 11.8k health and a little under the 102.4% is not a sin.</p><p>And remember...</p><p>When in doubt, round them up, and consecrate.</p>Andréhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11966967316872280121noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3491855104608545221.post-64614596497023423362020-12-11T18:23:00.000+01:002020-12-11T18:23:05.486+01:00Already?<p>In a big surprise, Nialedd, my Demon Hunter, reached 60 just before week 3 started. I was definitely not planning that, but there where reasons.</p><p>First, for someone whose primary objective is raiding, there is almost no other endgame. I did some Mythics, but M+ is not for me, as said many times before. PvP is something I try to completely avoid. So Mardah is now basically doing some weekly stuff on Wednesday, and some daily stuff, like miss..rr..adventures and emiss...rr..callings.</p><p>So last week, Mardah was mostly done after an hour or two, and I started levelling some alts. The main reason Nialedd made it to 60 as first alt, is leatherworking. I need a piece of leather boots for the Leggo I am going to make next Thursday. </p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jfSfdMWek1g/X9Oqvsb-nII/AAAAAAAAHkM/g2s5h4p9Hn4U-nonkQCOo4zEaXuLObYgQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1920/Nialedd%2BKyrian.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1920" height="360" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jfSfdMWek1g/X9Oqvsb-nII/AAAAAAAAHkM/g2s5h4p9Hn4U-nonkQCOo4zEaXuLObYgQCLcBGAsYHQ/w640-h360/Nialedd%2BKyrian.jpg" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Nialedd follows Kyrian<br /><br /></td></tr></tbody></table><p>I also used the Path of Faith option for Nialedd, and random dungeons actually give a decent amount of XP, so, between dungeons, doing some worldquests and stuff, 60 was reached quit easily... maybe my Tankadin, who is 55, will follow soon, that one is actually doing the normal route, think he is in Maldraxxus on the third sword.</p><p>On the profession side, Mardah is max JC and Enchanting, Nialedd is max Skinning and LW, and my little noam rogue can make the missives. Oh, Lurche is max tailoring because cloth drops everywhere for everyone.</p><p><br /></p>Andréhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11966967316872280121noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3491855104608545221.post-65531152033155253992020-12-02T19:00:00.000+01:002020-12-02T19:00:17.989+01:00The first week in the afterlife<p style="text-align: left;">Smooth.</p><p style="text-align: left;">That's how it went this week. Every expansion I think about playing another class as main, and every time Druids are to much fun. I was a little weary of the New Balance, but I found out it wasn't that bad during pre-patch. The things that actually bothered me was the interaction with the azerite traits, but those will be gone in two days. <div><br /></div><div>Covenant also has been chosen. Now, I am not in a high end Mythic Guild, but that does not mean I am going to choose a route which is bad. Not the best is an option, but outright choosing a route that leads to a bad road is..well..actually, something I might do in real life, but not in a numbers game. And I don't mind a small loss for a more fun ability, but for a long time there was like a big gap between the top covenant and the second.
For a long time it seemed Venthyr was the way to go, just macro the ability to Incarnation and forget about it for the next two years. Then Kyrian topped out, by a lot, till they nerfed a conduit, which made Night Fae almost on par, and probably better on Single Target. So, I will go Night Fae, and completely expect that the one, no Moonkin is talking about, Necrolord, will in patch 9.2 be the heart of some silly combo. </div><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jTP1XoHhWcA/X7p54Hma-EI/AAAAAAAAHiw/BwZ03pOPuq4VOyTyCmtKtwJFOQGzeWvBgCPcBGAYYCw/s1920/WoWScrnShot_112120_113015.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1920" height="360" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jTP1XoHhWcA/X7p54Hma-EI/AAAAAAAAHiw/BwZ03pOPuq4VOyTyCmtKtwJFOQGzeWvBgCPcBGAYYCw/w640-h360/WoWScrnShot_112120_113015.jpg" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">The most famous place in WoW at the moment.</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><div><br /></div><div>I also had some thoughts about the professions. Simple, this is what I did last two weeks, it gives a nice summary. I think two weeks ago, we had a week long extra reputation from the weekly, and the Darkmoon Fair was active. Combine that with a contract, and luckily two emissaries. Gwaednerth (a.k.a. Gowron) was on the hunt, and managed to do it. I now have unlocked all the allied races.... only to be greeted by the message that starting Shadowlands, they would have been unlocked anyway, ah well.<br />
<br />
I also concluded all of the heroic vision talent tree. So I can now farm stuff for free gem slots... maybe.. problem is, I don't really like the visions. Above two masks it basically becomes a half hour boss-fight where you cannot make to many mistakes. I did a three mask run a week ago, where everything went fine. I still had two orbs left when I went for Thrall. I forget one moment that you have to stand in the yellow circle, and poof, attempt gone, half an hour of work gone.. it is just to draining for me. And..well..do I need those gem slots (hint: see top achievement)<br />
<br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Newid gets his Artifact.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<div>
I am leveling some alts again with the current XP-buff, and Newid (Welsh for Change) actually made it to 110 to unlock the heritage armor. He is now in the Assault/Invasion phase, basically meaning that I do the assaults, and the three quests-chains for the campaign.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Leveling plan is simple for my alts. Do dungeons till you get tired of the Pandaria dungeons, do some questing till you hit Warlords of Draenor. Build garrison, find some followers, do some area-quests/mining/herbing till Legion. In legion, get an artifact, fly around exploring and doing all the area quests, maybe do a little normal questing. Done</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
At the moment I have 3 alts leveling in BFA, 2 in the TBC/Wrath Bracket, and several below 60. I may get some of them higher, but I am not in a hurry. I am looking forward to Shadowlands leveling, where it is said you can do one expansion and level up. At the moment you can probably do one or two zones before you out-level the expansion, so... looking forward to that.</div>

And last part of this blog, Innovation downed Heroic N'Zoth 2 days ago, starting our long wait till Shadowlands. We did it in 16 pulls, which actually makes it an easy end-boss. Most of our first pulls where spend learning to not panic with the bonding mechanism. I think around pull 12 we made it solidly to the Final Phase and wiped at 23%, followed by a 31% and 25% wipe. So that didn't seem to progress.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Eva called for the last pull of the evening, with intent to get back here Tuesday, what followed was a 3% wipe....there is some progress, but flask where now running out. I think I had 7 minutes left. But with being this close, people wanted to try once again... so we pulled really for the last time... </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<br /></div>
<div>
So now Innovation can wait, we still have some members to get the Curve-Achievement for the next weeks. But basically we are done except for maybe some Mythic, but that has never been the goal. This Shadowland Expansion better come fast, or the Alpha/Beta. I have read some interesting things about it, although I am not that exited about the whole Tower of the Damned stuff yet. </div>

I do however like levelling alts, levelling professions, running around for hours on one level just doing quests. So I am slowly levelling multiple alts on classic, while sometimes healing an endgame dungeon.<br />
<br />
On retail, I finally managed to do tw Mechagon runs... and I apparently need 6 more, although that may change with the next patch. The essence from there will be BiS after that patch, not using it at the moment.<br />
<br />
Innovation definately has the whole Eternal Palace on farm, although some silly wipes still happen. There is some talk about mythic between now and the new patch, which I would feel fine about.. loot-wise I may want one ring from Azshara, but that is it. And the raid it self feels really done now, especially because we can clear it in one night if we really want.<br />
<br />
About Blizzcon, my Tankadin heart is jumpy, return of the Auras, now we only need the return of the Blessings... Pally Power FTW. For Druids, I would really like the return of Mark of the Wild. It does goes against 'Bring the Player, not the Class', but well.. I never really believed in that anyway...<br />
<br />
No news about sending the forced Personal Loot to the very depths of the Shadowlands. And that other horrible thing, Titanforging, is going away in the next patch...somehow..not sure what to think about that yet.<br />
<br />
Shadowlands looks nice, but I am going to withold any real thoughts about that till we now more about Covenants and stuff.... one thing though....Level-squish, I like where they are going..<br />
<br />
From level 1-10 you have a decidated starter zone (newly developed???), for all non-allied races. At level 10 you can choose any expansion to fully level to 50 (except if you are a new player, then it will be BFA) and then level to 60 in Shadowlands. I feel like I will be alting much more like that.<br />
<br />
It also has the potential to be re-used over and over... think about it.. let's say Patch 10 comes around.. Blizzard can easily squish levels again and we can level from 50-60 in Rise of the Lich Queen (or something), and new players have to level 10-50 in the Shadowlands...<br />
<br />
..and someone somewhere in one of the panels said that levelling should be rewarding again... is that a hint to ye ole talentsystem?<br />
<br />Andréhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11966967316872280121noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3491855104608545221.post-36377229791352892382019-10-04T16:39:00.000+02:002019-10-04T16:39:03.323+02:00No 400 : Azshara and Level 60Two things happened this week.<br />
<br />
Innovation took down Azshara down on Heroic, and my Priest Ezrila turned 60.<br />
<br />
I have a very strange sense about the Eternal Palace. The raid was released just before summer vacation. I think I did up to Azshara on Normal before the vacation started. And then, for six weeks I was not online that often. So when I got back from vacation, I had mostly no idea what the bosses did. It took me till 2 weeks ago to find out how the second boss works.<br />
<br />
It was not till after that, that the bosses finally 'clicked' for me. And that also meant I started again to throw heavier punches around, it is all about knowing where to be at the right time for Boomers. The kill on Sunday was a typical Innovation-kill. 10 minutes left on the flask, last pull of the evening, and although at the end only the tanks, healers and one or two dps where alive, she did went down.<br />
<br />
I also am not a fan of the current gearing-system. I just want to be done with gearing, and the last two expansions, the artifact and neck stuff isn't working for me. And now these essences, I am just 'meh' whatever. I do have three 3-essences, but they are not the best, but I can not be bothered to really farm others, the whole system isn't really working for me.<br />
<br />
But, we have our target, Ahead of the Curve, now, when is the next raid?<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-50asI6jyXZw/XZdZLO_Yc8I/AAAAAAAAHUU/fo1eFhUMOL01nq5N4s7QvmJVgFa4dSz7gCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/WoWScrnShot_100219_100437.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="1600" height="225" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-50asI6jyXZw/XZdZLO_Yc8I/AAAAAAAAHUU/fo1eFhUMOL01nq5N4s7QvmJVgFa4dSz7gCLcBGAsYHQ/s400/WoWScrnShot_100219_100437.jpg" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Ezrila grinding some Furlborgs to 60</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
On Hydraxian Waterlords, Ezrila dinged 60 on Wednesday. The last 40% I was just killing Felwood Satyrs for Felcoth or Winterspring Furlborgs. Till level 40, I levelled as Spirit-tapping Discipline, after that it was of course 31 points to get Shadowform, and than back to Discipline. I healed a lot of dungeons like that.<br />
<br />
There is a big shortage of tanks. LookingForGroup is continuously filled with LF Tank. And most of the time, groups are under-level for the last bosses of a dungeon. Atlasloot e.g. gives a level-range from 12-17 for Ragefire Chasm, my little Rogue actually had all the quests on level 11. But last boss is 15, can be hard on lvl12 tanks.<br />
<br />
Same I had with the Sunken Temple, Ezrila healed it twice with a mostly underlevel group, didn't work on last boss. I am also not keen on starting tanking, I have healed enough to see that Aggro is a bitch. Shamans opening with Earth Shock, Multi-Shotting Hunters at pull, or the silly DPS-warrior in my last BRD run (when I already was 60), who actually made sure to NOT attack the tanks target, and then starting complaining that the shaman didn't drop WF-totem.<br />
<br />
After hitting 60, after 10 days played, Ezrilla respecced 21/30/0, getting Divine Spirit in Disco. The 31-Holy option is going Death Angel and Lightwell... which I clearly remember being shite. Most people have no idea how to use that. As I said, I did a BRD run as Healer after that. It went ok for most of the time. I just have to make sure that I don't forget to heal myself.<br />
<br />
Also, down-ranked spells... I have down-ranked bot Heal and Greater Heal on hotkeys, so I Have 4 different slow-heals. Around 500, 1000, 1500 and 2000 Health-points. I also have a down-ranked Reju...rr..Renew on hotkeys. No down-ranking for Flash Heal, if I have to use that, it is already shit hitting the fan. And as last, a down-rank for Prayer of Healing, very efficient spell if everyone is damaged.<br />
<br />
I am now basically waiting till our tank hits ST/BRD range. And hope for some better gear. Also.. time for Classic Alts<br />
<br />
And lastly... this is my 400th blog-post... hurray?Andréhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11966967316872280121noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3491855104608545221.post-50941450753662738762019-09-17T08:23:00.001+02:002019-09-17T08:23:13.106+02:00The Mallet of Zul'FarrakSomewhere Sunday morning, Ezrila had gathered up all seven Zul'Farrak Quests. Three of them are easy to pick up, just head to Gadzetzan and pick up the quests to gather scarab thingies, troll temper and a divine rod. In Steamwheelde port you can pick up a quests that sends you to Feralas, and is important for later on, it gives you the ability to summon Hakkar in The Temple of Atal'Hakkar.<br />
<br />
One quests is picked up from the middle of Dustwallow Marsh. One was already in my questlist, the quest for the Carrot on a Stick, that you pick up on the Mirage Raceway. The last one, is a chain that starts with a green bottle from the Hinterlands...and ends with a lvl52Elite.... which is a little bit to high for my 45Priest.<br />
<br />
After I gathered them all up, I noticed someone was looking for a DPS to ZF. I can do that, so I whispered. But I got a whisper back they needed 46+ dps... ah well...30 minutes later they where still looking for one, but at that point I was set to heal, 2 rogues, a DPS-warrior..and no Tank...<br />
<br />
That took almost 50 minutes to find one, and it took a good 20 minutes for everybody to get to ZF, typical Classic experience... we had no problems, I got a nice staff, and 20 Troll Tempers...that will take another run... which I have to do anyway.<br />
<br />
After the 2nd Boss, the one in a Cave, we found out that none of us actually had the Hammer of Zul'Farrak to summon the Hydra Boss. So I jokingly said, well, we know what to do after. 2 Hours later, with the same group, we ended up at the Altar of Zul in the Hinterlands.<br />
<br />
After that, and after finding out that the quests for Jintha'Alor are not for level45, we stormed the Troll City, killing lots of Troll for the people that had the quests, and Finished the Hammer of Zul'Farrak, and pick up an Ancient Egg.<br />
<br />
And mistakes where made later. Ezrila, being a Tailor/Enchanter, basically did not disenchant anything from about level 25 up. All to get money for the mount, which I got at 42. That however meant that I was short on enchanting materials between lvl20-40. So to the AH we went... which ended up with having only 60c... barely enough to fly between Orgrimmar and Thunderbluff....Andréhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11966967316872280121noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3491855104608545221.post-20194427405329095342019-09-03T08:26:00.002+02:002019-09-03T08:26:22.263+02:00Zhevra HoovesYes, I found them all, much faster than I thought at first, but I did completed it.<br />
<br />
Strange how things go, a week ago I logged into Hydraxian Waterlords, and I started to level a Tauren Druid. 2 levels later my partner came entered, also on a Tauren Druid. I then try to log in onto my Tauren Warrior, which took a while, but we both leveled up to six.<br />
<br />
The next day, I didn't really feel to level the warrior, and I saw that we didn't had any priests in Innovation, yes, Innovation now has a Classic Horde guild, so I started to level a priest, and Undead Priest called Ezrila, and she is now level <strike>27 </strike>29.<br />
<br />
Not something I was planning to do, but it happened, and Priest levelling is pretty fast, if you have a good wand. I healed everry dungeon so far, and I am now in Limbo beteween Blackfathom Deeps and Gnomeregan, so Ezrila is <strike>collecting some human skulls in the Hillsbrad Foothills</strike> killing taurens in 1K Needles.<br />
<br />
I find it all very re-refreshing. No more zerg-mode, thinking about what you are doing. Dungeons need to be done properly again, and crafting matters. And a lot of stuff you can not solo, although I did tried... and failed some. As a friend said, Classic is best enjoyed with two people.<br />
<br />
Let's see where this journey takes us.Andréhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11966967316872280121noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3491855104608545221.post-81572652608323898912019-07-07T15:41:00.000+02:002019-07-07T15:41:44.785+02:00Heritage, small and big<div style="text-align: center;">
Last week, patch 8.2 dropped. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It took me 9 days to get Flying</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Jg-wlU0nyzQ/XSHywz0Nv_I/AAAAAAAAHNE/NWlcvz6AUOoLJEiBshm0Oc_6H4LEoijXwCLcBGAs/s1600/Flying_Mardah.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="553" data-original-width="862" height="205" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Jg-wlU0nyzQ/XSHywz0Nv_I/AAAAAAAAHNE/NWlcvz6AUOoLJEiBshm0Oc_6H4LEoijXwCLcBGAs/s320/Flying_Mardah.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Before that happened, I also played a little with me Exalted Gnome</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-f7owmHnvihQ/XSHyxsS3L_I/AAAAAAAAHNI/jD0P9VAN_4UX_Ny7xfj5JO4ZvDcLd466ACLcBGAs/s1600/Heritage_Gnome.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="944" data-original-width="1145" height="263" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-f7owmHnvihQ/XSHyxsS3L_I/AAAAAAAAHNI/jD0P9VAN_4UX_Ny7xfj5JO4ZvDcLd466ACLcBGAs/s320/Heritage_Gnome.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And today, I leveled old Cloudcaller to 120</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-y8Xqb0jI5XA/XSHyx2kVuUI/AAAAAAAAHNM/wU_OiNt2o4A4BecuCro_sQ_TZkWWIp4BACLcBGAs/s1600/Heritage_Tauren.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="944" data-original-width="1151" height="262" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-y8Xqb0jI5XA/XSHyx2kVuUI/AAAAAAAAHNM/wU_OiNt2o4A4BecuCro_sQ_TZkWWIp4BACLcBGAs/s320/Heritage_Tauren.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Other things this weeks, included leveling pets for the pet-battles, Innovation getting Ahead of the Curve : Uu'nat. Me dying horrible on the two pulls I was there. Simming that the new Mechagon-Isle-Trinket is actually better as the Incandescent Sliver, which I can now unequip. Not getting the Murlock Cloak yet. And I have started a mount-hunt..that circle-mount looks nice for..well..gnomes.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Also..Essences... I found out that my best essence is from the new dungeon, and it seems upgrading it needs more runs in the same dungeon...oh well.. I can handle that probably.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Secondary is another story. Best apparently is from Island Expeditions, and getting to rank 4 needs more IE's. That is something I'd rather not do. Luckily the differences between the top essences is not that large. Number 2 and 3 on that list are the ones I already have from following the quest-lines. One is linked to neck-level, and the other one to follower-experience in Nazjatar. Stuff that I will likely do anyway.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
